Seoul Day 4 : Everland Theme Park (에버랜드 리조트)


Day 4

Everland Theme Park - Main Entrance


Woke up early we did since we know the journey to Everland is quite a distance.

From Hongyik Station , we stop at Gangnam Station.  It took us  38 Minutes subway ride, 17 stations stops which cost us KWR 1,150 @ RM 3.45
Departure from Hongyik Station--> Arrival at Gangnam Station, Exit 6.
Once you're out, asked around how to take bus number 5002 which will lead to Everland.

Once u come out from the Gangnam Stn, u will come across underground shopping center as above.
Came across this shop name "Chancha Mayo" to get a cup of coffee @KWR 2,000 (RM 6)
Chancha Mayo do have Lunch & Dinner menu from KWR 2,700 ( RM 8.10) to KWR 10,000 (RM 30)
The bus No. 5002 is quite frequent as we didn't need to wait more than 30minutes.
It cost around KWR 1,800 (RM 5.40) for a single journey which goes all the way to everland until the last stop.




Inside Bus No. 5002
Bus No.5002 will take you to the last stop & there will be another Free Shuttle Bus to Everland itself whereby the journey is around 5 min bus ride.

The Shuttle Bus ride was fast. Within 5min, we reach Everland :)

This is the place where the shuttle bus stop us. There will be a sign "Public Bus Terminal" to take the same bus back to the city.

Since we love kids so much, coming Everland is a great choice because Kids is everywhere ! Haha
The nicest part was, parents of the kids willingly let us capture their kids and we did have good shots of them.

It's only 6+pm, but the sky is already dark
Since the we went on March 2013, the theme park close around 7pm due to the sky turns dark early.

We took the same bus no.5002 back to Gangnam Station.

Well, that wraps up our whole day trip in Everland !
We did enjoy ourself much and thankfully it is not pack with tourist or else the queue is even longer for everything...

A must come if it is your first to Seoul.. At least this is much worth to see & more rides comparing Lotte World with the price you're paying.

      No problem :) Ya! u need to print out the discount voucher & show them when u purchase your ticket at the entrance :)
      Really worth going if they have discount :)

  3. Hey Jayyden! Agnes from tripadvisor. the one with pug avatar. haha. so, everland is closed after dark? no lights like what i saw in google images when i googled "everland night"? or was the lights only special occasion?
    My trip is next month! =))

      Thanks for dropping buy..haha i remember u ! Ermm..u hv to check in their website and see..cz it also depends on the season..when i went, it was march and was freezing cold..that is why the everland close very early...but i guess ur trip nxt month, the weather will be good..so it won't close so early..but u can check at their website and see..hehe have fun ya !

      There is a even a better discounted tikcet for KWR 33,000 here : http://www.cosmojin.com/eng/web/common/inc/pop_info_everland.asp.

      But u will need to purchase the ticket at Cosmojin Tour Office at President Hotel (which is beside Seoul Plaza, NOT purchase the ticket in everland itself).

  5. Just wanna ask if we purchase the ticket in Cosmojin Tour office i read that they are requiring for a passport and a medical insurance?

      I'm not sure about cosmojin as i usually dont book tour when i travel. It's all free and easy.
      Signboard in korea is very easy as they do hv english language.
      I find it very easy tp travel in seoul eventhough u dont speak or understand korea language

  6. Hi Jayyden, very interesting blog! I'm planning to go in Mac as well and was wondering if the T Express roller coaster ride will be closed since it's still cold?
    And u said the park closed at 7pm? that's very early. i checked the website and the operating hours are 10-9pm. will they close before the stated hours?

      U can double check with everland.
      The last I went it close at 7pm as it get darks. It is advisable for u to drop them an email cz the last I went was 2013

      The last I went was years back.. Climate changes now.. If early or middle of march, it might be cold.. Early april or middle of april is the best season..cz flowers bloom.. March is the time whereby ice is slowing melting...
